OHIP: end of coverage for expenses incurred outside of Canada

Effective January 1st, 2020, OHIP will no longer reimburse medical expenses incurred by Ontario residents while traveling abroad. The only exception to this is Ontarians with kidney failure as their dialysis services will continue to be reimbursed.
